- To start taking online courses, you need to register with our Online Courses site from the "User Registration" page. All values must be filled in.
All information collected is for summary reporting purposes only and will NOT be released in individual form.
-
After you register, first,
you will have to select courses in which to enroll from the "Course Enrollment" page. When you do this, make sure the "All Courses " button is clicked under the List header, so you can view all courses that are available.
- To enroll in a course, simply click the "Enrolled" check box on the right. You may enroll in as many available courses as you wish.
- When you have selected all courses of interest to you, click "Save Changes."
- Then, click the "My Course List" link in the top left hand corner.
- On "My Course List" page, you should see courses name with links for all courses in which you enrolled.
In the future, you will be directed automatically to this page after you successfully log in so you may select a course to view. You may go to the "Course Enrollment" page to enroll in a new course or disenroll from a current course at any time by clicking the appropriate link at the bottom of this page or on the top navigation bar. However, the courses that you have completed cannot be disenrolled.
The "Completed" box on the right hand side will be checked and a link to the "Certificate of Completion" will be activated once you meet the course requirement.
- To view a course, make sure you are on your "My Course List" page and click the title for the desired course. This will direct you to a separate page that provides resources and information corresponding to that course, called "Course Information" page. All tutorials for that course will now be displayed at the bottom of the page. Also, slides and transcripts of tutorials are available as PDF files, which requires Adobe Reader. Click on
icon to view the file.
The "Completed" box on the right hand side will be checked if you meet the tutorial requirement.
- Click the title for the tutorial you would like to view, which launches and starts the actual tutorial. To view and listen to the tutorials require free Adobe Flash player 8 or later and a speaker or headset. The tutorial will advance through the slides automatically unless special instructions are provided.
This tutorial program remembers where you left off.
If you exit the tutorial before the funding information slide or the last slide, upon your next visit to the tutorial it will return you to the slide where you were viewing.
Click here to open the "Tutorial Navigation Help" for more detailed instructions.
At the end of the tutorial, click on the button that says "Click Here to Update Your Record and Go to Post Test if applicable." The tutorial window vanishes and a popup box appears informing you that your record has been updated. Or if the "Post test" is available to the tutorial or course, it will appear.
NOTE: Please make your browser allow "popup" windows from this site.

- To take a post test, choose an answer corresponding to each question and click the "Submit" button. Upon submission of answers, feedback and, if applicable, a link for more information will be given. You need 80% correct answers to pass the post test. Once you pass the test, click on the "Close" button to close it and you will not take the post test for the course again. You may retake the test 3 times by clicking on the "Try Again" button after reviewing feedback. If you fail all three attempts, you need to view the tutorial again to retake the post test.
- You should now be viewing the original "Course Information" page. You will notice that the "Completed" box for the tutorial you just viewed is now checked if meeting the tutorial requirement. You may view any available tutorial, including those that have been viewed previously, at any time and as many times as desired. To view a tutorial for a different course, click the "My Course List " on the top and select the desired course.
